Who We Are

The 2015 season has concluded…The Nebraska Senior Softball League was started with the primary goal to promote softball and improve the physical, mental and spiritual wellness of seniors in Omaha and surrounding communities who enjoy Fun, Fitness and Fellowship. Eligible players of 50 years or over (or turning 50 during the calendar year of play) can sign up.Registration will begin for the 2016 season during the month of February with league play commencing in the latter half of April.  Games are played on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the La Vista Sports Complex at 66th & Harrison. The Fall league begins on August 19th and runs through early October. If you turn 50 anytime during 2016, or if you have already passed that milestone, you are eligible for play.  You do not have to live in Nebraska to play.If you desire additional information, please browse our website and/or contact our Director of Player Personnel, or any of the other League Directors. For the more energetic and skilled players who want to extend their playing beyond the friendly confines of the Senior League, there are five age group select tournament teams, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, and 70+, who compete in local, state, regional, and national tournaments.
