|Regular season play began on Monday, April 25th.The Nebraska Senior Softball League was started with the primary goal to promote softball and improve the physical, mental and spiritual wellness of seniors in Omaha and surrounding communities who enjoy Fun, Fitness and Fellowship. Eligible players 50 years or over (or turning 50 during the calendar year of play) can participate. Games are played on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the La Vista Sports Complex at 66th & Harrison. The Fall season will begin around mid-August and run through early October.You do not have to live in Nebraska to play. For the more energetic and skilled players who want to extend their playing beyond the friendly confines of the Senior League, there are five age group select tournament teams, 50+, 55+, 60+, 65+, and 70+, who compete in local, state, regional, and national tournaments.
