    Nebraska Senior Softball League Information
The Nebraska Senior Softball League was started with the primary goal to promote softball and improve the physical, mental and spiritual wellness of seniors in Omaha and surrounding communities who enjoy Fun, Fitness and Fellowship. The league is open to everyone above the age of 50 years and provides an excellent avenue for exercising and friendly competition.

Summer league games will be played starting May 2 through July 27 on Monday and Wednesday evenings at the La Vista Sports Complex at 66th & Harrison. Our Fall league games will also be played on Monday and Wednesday evenings from August 15 through October 21 at a site to be determined.

This past season, we had twelve senior league teams and are hoping to expand to fourteen teams in 2011. If you turn 50 anytime during the current year, or if you have already passed that milestone, you can join the league right now! You do not have to live in Nebraska.

For the more energetic and skilled players who want to extend their playing beyond the friendly confines of the Senior League, there are age group select tournament teams, in five age groups, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70 and over, who compete in local, state, regional, and national tournaments.

If you desire additional information, please browse this website or contact David Dye, Director of Player Personnel, at 712 256-4039 or email ihv2mnehbs@yahoo.com, or any of the other League Directors.
