These batting practices have no official league sanction and are listed as an optional activity for all our players.
Who We Are
The Nebraska Senior Softball League was started with the primary goal to promote softball and improve the physical,
mental and spiritual wellness of seniors in Omaha and surrounding communities who enjoy Fun, Fitness and Fellowship.
The league is open to everyone above the age of 50 years and provides an excellent avenue for exercising and friendly
competition.
The Summer league plays games Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Council Bluffs Recreation & Softball Complex at 2900 Richard Downing Avenue just south of Exit 1-B (S. 24th Street) off the I-80/I-29 interchange in Council Bluffs. The Fall league plays games Monday and Wednesday evenings at the Seymour Smith Softball
Complex at 70th & Harrison St in Omaha.
If you turn 50 anytime during the current year, or if you have already passed that milestone, you can join the
league right now! You do not have to live in Nebraska.
For the more energetic and skilled players who want to extend their playing beyond the friendly confines of the
Senior League, there are age group select tournament teams, 50-54, 55-59, and 60 and over, who compete in local,
state, regional, and national tournaments.
