May 28th, 2013 – The last fundraiser for the NSS Auxiliary is this weekend during the Cornbelt Classic Softball Tournament on June 1st and 2nd at Seymour Smith Park. This softball facility is on the NE corner of 72nd and Harrison streets and just a few blocks north of our fields at the La Vista complex.

We could sure use a few volunteers to bake some great tasting items for all the players and their families coming from Kansas, Missouri, Minnesota, Colorado,
and Iowa. As before, if you can contribute some of your excellent treats, pastries, breads, etc., please email Catherine (kitcatty45@yahoo.com) or call
her at 402-630-9029.

Package the baked goods individually, when possible, for easier distribution.

You may bring the items to Seymour Smith anytime after 8:00 a.m. on Saturday OR the Auxiliary will make arrangements to accept your donations the day before. A
welcoming icebreaker is scheduled for Friday evening (5/31) and we can provide details of where and when that will be if it is an easier option.

Funds earned during this endeavor go towards quality of life events for NSS family members and players such as the mid-Summer BBQ.

Thanks very much, in advance, for any type of donation or effort you can make to our group and feel free to come out and socialize with us as we meet many of the
players and spouses who are coming to our home fields. Let’s make them feel welcome.
